Mechakucha Swingは2002年当時パートナーシップを組んでいたダックスとタクミによって設立された。
始まってまだ日の浅かった大阪のスイングシーンにおいて本場のスイングを体現し、その普及に貢献した。

ダックスとサラは過去15年以上にわたって ワークショップ、コンペ出場、ソーシャルダンス、パフォーマンス、またコーチングを行ってきた。
彼らは世界有数のダンスキャンプに招へいされるインストラクターの中でも、最も経験のあるダンサーである。
そのほか、彼らはアメリカの人気番組、「Dancing with the Satars」でパフォーマンスを披露し、またインディーズ映画「Ctrl+Alt+Dance」での主演を務めた。

ダックスはオーセンティックなスイング音楽、自然な体の動きを中心に展開し、最小限の努力でフラストレーションの少ない楽しいユニークなメソッドに沿って教える。生徒が求める、楽しくてためになるクラスを堪能してください。

サラは10歳からジャズダンスを重点的にトレーニング/コンテスト出場を行ってきた。彼女はU.Sオープンとジュニアオリンピックのタイトルを保持している。
継続的に、映画、コマーシャル、ミュージックビデオに出演し、ベンジ―＆レイシーやクリスティーナアギレラ、ウィルスミスなど名だたるスター達と共演している。

Mechakucha Swing was created by Dax and Takumi back in 2002.
Back in the day, swing dance was not popular as much as today and he showed us real swing/lindyhop in Osaka.

Dax & Sarah have been teaching, competing, social dancing, performing and coaching for the past 15 years. They are two of the most experienced dancers on the circuit who are featured instructors at the worlds most prestigious swing dance camps. In addition they have performed on Dancing with the Stars and play the lead roles in the feature film Ctrl+Alt+Dance, a new indie film built around swing dancing and Lindy Hop.

Dax delivers a unique method of instruction that revolves around authentic swing music, natural body movement, and variations that work with minimal effort, and fun over frustration. Enjoy a fun and educational learning environment to meet the students needs.

Sarah Breck has been training and competing in dance with an emphasis on Vernacular Jazz dance since the age of 10. She holds two titles in the U.S.Open and the Jr. Olympics. She has consistently worked in film; commercial and music videos along side artist such as Benji and Lacey Schwimmer (SYTYCD); Christina Aguilera; Fall Out Boy; Carrie Underwood; Richard Blayne (Project Runway); Mariah Carey, Will Smith and Gavin Degraw. She teaches with Dax Hock.

大阪出身のモエは多くのダンスにおいて専門的な訓練を長年積んできた。
1999年に彼女はリンディホップに出会ってすぐのめり込み、それ以降ダンスにおいてリンディホップは彼女の一番の選択となった。
アジアの真珠と称されるモエは2000年にロンドンに移住し、ローカルダンスシーンにおいてその輝きを遺憾なく発揮し、ほどなくイギリスにおけるトップフォロワーに登りつめる。
ソーシャルダンス、またコンペ出場を精力的に行い、数々の英国、米国でのタイトルを保持している。
彼女はソーシャルダンス、パフォーマンス、ワークショップ(リンディ、バルボア、シャグ、ブギウギ)を行うため招へいされ、広く世界を旅している。
また、劇場、テレビ番組、映画など数々の作品にてダンサーとして出演している。
日本に帰国した際には、継続的に大阪でワークショップを行い、多くのダンサーから好評を得ている。

Moe Sakanhas had professional training in many types of dance. In 1999 Moe fell in love with the Lindy Hop, since then this has been her dance of choice. A pearl of the Orient, Moe moved to London in 2000, bringing a sparkle to the local swing dancing scene, and soon became the UK’s top female swing dancer. An active social and competition dancer, she is proud to have won several UK and US competition titles. Moe travels the world extensively for social dancing, performing and teaching Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag and Boogie Woogie. She has also enjoyed dancing for several productions, including theatre, television and film.

◆MARKUS ROSENDAL◆

マーカスはプロフェッショナルなダンスインストラクター、パフォーマーであり、またDJでもある。
彼は1998年に踊りはじめ、以後8年間は彼の祖国であるスウェーデンでキャリアを積み、その後はスイングダンスへの情熱をシェアするため、
WSやパフォーマンスをしながら世界中を旅してまわっている。
2015年にヴィンテージ服や、素晴らしいレコード、新しい生徒を集めるためにロンドンに移住した。
ときおり、ロンドンのストリートでは 彼がこんな風に練習しているのを見かけるだろう。（以下のクリップを参照）
1920-50年代のダンスのスペシャリストとして、彼はリンディホップ、ブギウギ、オーセンティックジャズ、タップ、シャグを教えている。
大人に教えるだけでなく、スウェーデンのコミュニティと協力して、子供たちにダンスやダンスの文化を教えることも楽しんでいる。
彼はまた、イベントの主催者・DJもあり、2009年に彼の地元スウェーデンのルードビカでスイングシーンを創り、
今日までレギュラークラスやワイルドなオールドスクールスタイルのパーティを盛り上げている。
昨年のOLEでも大いにダンスフロアを沸かせた。

Markus Rosendal is a professional dance teacher, performer and DJ.
Hestarted dancing in 1998, and after 8 years building a successful career in his home country of Sweden, he began travelling around the globe teaching and performing, sharing his passion for swing.In 2015 he moved to London to look for old clothes, great records, and new students!

A well regarded specialist in dances from the 1920´s – 1950´s, Markus now teaches Lindy Hop,Boogie Woogie, Authentic Jazz,Tap, and Shag.As well as teaching adults, Markus has enjoyed working with the community, touring Sweden teaching children around the country about dance and dance culture.

Markus also works as an event organiser and DJ, and the swing scene he began in his home town of Ludvika, Sweden back in 2009 is thriving today, with regular workshops and wild parties in an old school swing style.
